How to read the distance between dates
The main difference uses complete civil days. The interval is also shown as weeks and as a calendar difference in years, months and days.
Months do not have a fixed length, so decimal months are approximate while the total number of days remains exact.
Tips for a useful result
- Enable “include start date” when both endpoints should count.
- Use the swap control to reverse the dates without typing them again.
- For administrative deadlines, check whether weekends and public holidays must also be excluded.
